Chargebee Admin Privacy Policy

Effective date:

This policy applies specifically to Chargebee Admin (com.gintegrator.chargebee), an Android application provided by G-Integrator, operated by Denis Novak. It governs this app's data practices and takes precedence over conflicting general statements in the G-Integrator Privacy Policy.

Chargebee Admin is an independent third-party client for managing a Chargebee site. It does not require a separate G-Integrator account or access to your Google account, Google Sheets, or Google Drive.

1. Information the app accesses and uses

The app connects to the Chargebee site you specify using an API key you provide. Depending on the features you use and the records in your site, it accesses and processes:

  • Your Chargebee site name and API key.
  • Customer records, including names, email addresses, company names, and other contact and billing details available in those records.
  • Subscriptions, product plans and prices, and coupons.
  • Invoices, transaction and payment information, and billing reports.
  • Search terms, filters, and values you enter to retrieve, create, or update records.

The app uses this information to authenticate your connection, display your records and reports, and perform the management actions you request. Creating, editing, deleting, or otherwise managing a record sends the corresponding request and information to Chargebee. You must be authorized to access and manage the connected site's data.

2. Storage and security

Your site name and API key are stored in encrypted application storage on your Android device. The API key is transmitted to Chargebee over HTTPS to authenticate requests. Encryption on the device does not mean the key never leaves the device.

Retrieved records are held in application memory for use by the app rather than saved to a persistent local records database. The app disables Android application backup. The release app does not enable its HTTP request logging interceptor.

If you download an invoice PDF, the app uses Android's download service to save it to your device's public Downloads folder. If that download cannot be started, the app may open the invoice download link in your browser. Invoice files are outside the app's encrypted private storage and may be accessible to people or applications with access to those files.

No security measure guarantees absolute protection. Protect your device and API key, grant only the access needed for your use, and revoke a key in Chargebee if you believe it has been exposed.

3. Where information goes

The app communicates directly with your selected Chargebee site to provide the functions you request. Chargebee receives the authentication credentials, queries, and record changes needed for those functions, along with connection information such as your IP address.

Invoice downloads contact the download address supplied by Chargebee, which may be hosted by its service providers. Android's download service or your browser may handle that link and the downloaded file.

The current app does not send your API key or Chargebee records to a G-Integrator backend. It does not include advertising, analytics, or crash-reporting SDKs. We do not sell information accessed through the app or use it for advertising.

Chargebee's processing and retention of information are governed by your organization's agreement with Chargebee and its applicable policies. See the Chargebee Privacy Policy. Your browser, device services, and any applications you choose to use with downloaded files have their own data practices.

4. Retention and deletion

Saved site details and credentials remain in the app's private storage until replaced, the app's storage is cleared through Android settings, or the app is uninstalled. To remove the app's saved data, open Android settings, select Chargebee Admin under Apps, and clear its storage, or uninstall the app. Menu names may vary by device.

The Clear cache & reload function refreshes in-memory data. It does not delete saved credentials or records held by Chargebee.

Downloaded invoice PDFs may remain after clearing app storage or uninstalling the app. Delete those files separately using your device's file manager, including any copies you have made or shared.

Clearing or uninstalling the app does not delete your Chargebee account, its records, or its API keys. To remove records, use authorized Chargebee controls or contact your site's administrator. To invalidate an API key, revoke it in Chargebee. Changes made through the app remain in Chargebee according to that service's retention rules.

5. Support communications

If you contact us for support, we receive your email address and the information you choose to provide. We use that information to respond to and investigate your request. Support correspondence is handled through our email service rather than collected automatically by the app.

Do not send API keys, payment-card details, or unnecessary customer information in support messages. To request deletion of information you have supplied to support, email [email protected]. We will explain any applicable legal retention requirements or limitations when responding to your request.

6. Children

Chargebee Admin is intended for authorized business users and is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can investigate and address it.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app's functionality or data practices change. We will publish the revised policy on this page and update its effective date.

8. Contact

For questions about this policy or privacy requests, contact Denis Novak, G-Integrator, at [email protected].
